Nutrient Dense Overnight Oats

In a hurry in the mornings and need a super nutrient dense grab n go breakfast?! ⁣

I’ve got you. 👊⁣

Here’s the quick n dirty recipe then we’ll chat about the ingredients: ⁣

🔹Set a pint mason jar on a food scale and zero it out. ⁣

🔹Add 30g of oats, 1tsp/5g chia seeds, 1 tablespoon ground flax seed, a squirt of liquid stevia (optional), and 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of choice). ⁣

🔹Put lid on and shake. ⁣

🔹Take a heaping 1/2 cup of (about 120g) of organic whole milk Greek yogurt in a bowl and stir in sweetener of choice (I use liquid stevia to keep the overall calories/carbs lower)⁣

🔹Add the yogurt to oat mixture. ⁣

🔹Add a few berries of choice to the top (I love raspberries and just sprinkle a few on top).⁣

🔹Place in the fridge for an hour or overnight to allow to thicken and for the oats to soften. ⁣

Before serving I drizzle 2tsp PB or other nut butter to the top. ⁣

This recipe is packed with nutrients:⁣

👉 Lots of live, active cultures in the Greek yogurt, good for gut health⁣

👉A great source of protein and calcium in the yogurt ⁣

👉 Omega3’s and fiber in the chia and flax ⁣

👉Antioxidants and vitamin c in the berries ⁣

👉So much more but I’ll wrap it up there. 😂⁣
