Instant Pot: Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Instant Pot: Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Let’s be honest-hard boiled eggs have always felt like a big pain in the 🍑. Like, I don’t like eggs enough to take the time to let the water boil, ⏰ how long they’re in there, put them in ice water, then drive myself crazy trying to peel them and half of the egg coming off with the shell. Huge pain.😩Don’t have time for that. 🙅🏻‍♀️Don’t care enough to mess with it. ⁣

But.⁣

BUT!!!!!! ⁣

The instant pot has changed the game once again. You guys...⁣

THIS IS SO EASY YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!! 🥚 ⁣

Hard boiled eggs make a great snack, or you can make a delicious lightened up version of traditional egg salad (my fav! 🤤)⁣

Instructions:⁣

✅ Add 1 cup of water to your instant pot.⁣

✅ Add the trivet to the bottom of the pot.⁣

✅ Arrange eggs in the bottom of the pot and make sure they don’t touch each other. Most pots can fit 6 easily but if you over crowd they might break.⁣

✅ Place the lid on and turn the IP to manual 5 min. ⁣

✅ When it’s done let the pressure naturally release for 5 minutes then manually release remaining pressure.⁣

✅ Gently add eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for a few minutes. ⁣

✅ Crack eggs and peel (These peel so easily it’s amazing!) ⁣👍

Devour or store in the fridge for up to a few days of peeled (or leave unpeeled and they last longer)
