Greek Yogurt Bagels

Greek Yogurt Bagels

Super Simple Homemade Bagels ⁣ 🥯 are not what I would consider a low-calorie food. They can be dense on carbs and calories-BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t have a portion-controlled one when you are just needing some BREAD in your life. ❤️ 🍞 ⁣

I cannot take credit for this recipe. It’s been flying around the gram for a while but after I made them and tweaked a bit I wanted to share. Not to mention after posting them on my story I got tons of requests for the recipe. 🙌 They are STUPID simple and if you have an air fryer you could have hot & fresh bagels from start to finish in under 20 min! ⁣

If you make these (or any variation) I’d love to know! Tag me or send me a DM and let me know what you think! 🤤 ⁣

👉INGREDIENTS:⁣

🔹180-190g Non Fat Greek yogurt (plain)⁣

🔹180g self rising flour⁣

🔹1 egg white⁣

🔹1/4 tsp salt⁣

👉DIRECTIONS:⁣

✅ Mix flour, Greek yogurt and salt in a bowl (I used my hands) until a dough forms. If the mix is too dry, add a touch more yogurt. If it’s too wet, add a touch more flour. I have found usually that I add a touch more yogurt. ⁣

✅ Separate the dough into 4 equal portions. ⁣

Roll the dough out with your hands and form into a bagel shape. If you are planning to make sandwiches make them a bit flatter with a bigger hole in the middle and they’ll be thinner but better for a sandwich. ⁣

✅ Brush the top of each one with a touch of egg white and add any seasonings to the top (Everything but the bagel is SO good on these)⁣

✅ Place in the air fryer at 350 for 10-15 minutes. If you don’t have an air fryer you can use the oven but I haven’t done that yet. My guess would be 350-375 for 15-20 min. Let me know how that works if you try it! ⁣
